Therapy for Millennials and Gen Z adults going through complicated grief such as friendship breakups, relationship endings, and identity shifts.
A space to reconnect with yourself, your relationships, and your sense of belonging. Narrative therapist based in Orange County, CA.
Not all grief comes from a funeral. Some of it comes from the life you thought you'd be living by now.
Grief is all around us. Not just the death of someone we love but this sense of deep loss that shapes our lives. A loss of yourself, a loss of what you expected your future to be, a friendship breakup, a relationship that unexpectedly changed, or a sense of disconnection from the people who once felt like home.
For many Millennials and Gen Z adults, it almost seems like a collective grief where the life you envisioned for yourself no longer exists. You are fearful of becoming jaded by the ever-changing, fast-paced climate that we live in. You feel this overwhelming cloud that you're almost scared to go through because what if you lose yourself in it? What if the sadness becomes too much and you feel more out of control than you already do? You've tried to push this feeling aside but somehow it keeps making its way back.
If this sounds familiar, maybe this is the right space for you. Therapy can be a space to slow down and make sense of your experience, leaving more room for groundedness, confidence, empowerment, and belonging. Belonging to both yourself and your community. You can reclaim your sense of self after a loss and learn to trust yourself again. You can reconnect with your values instead of the ones that were given to you. Together, we can get you distance from the fear and lean more into trusting yourself to experience it.

HOW WE’LL WORK TOGETHER
A curious, collaborate approach
They say that grief has five stages but what if it has more? What if your grief only has one stage and that stage is that it just sucks? Working with me looks like a chance to name what you’re feeling together. We don’t have to follow a general guidebook on how to grieve. We will tailor sessions to what feels right for you so this invisible weight no longer bleeds into your relationships with others. Whether you're trying to make sense of your loss, know yourself more, or are in search of confidence, I would be honored to walk alongside you in this next chapter.

FAQs
-
Yes. Grief shows up in many forms: the end of a friendship, a breakup, or a version of yourself or your future that no longer exists. Your loss is valid, and it deserves space.
-
Maybe you have tried pushing this feeling aside. Maybe the person that you normally turn to is the one that you are having a conflict with. Maybe you have tried journaling but still feel stuck. Therapy can be a space built around you, offering the support, language, and perspective you haven't been able to find on your own. If you're unsure where to start or know exactly what you need, we can figure that out together.
-
Absolutely. The free consultation is a low-pressure way to ask questions, share a little about what's going on, and see if this feels like a good fit, with no commitment.

I do not accept insurance. Working outside of insurance means I'm not required to assign a diagnosis, limit session length, or report details of our work to a third party. It allows us to move at the pace that's right for you and keeps the process centered on your autonomy, not what's dictated by a claims process.
